Photographers Wanted at PhotoBaby Lancaster

By 3rd February 2021Studio Chit Chat

If lockdown has given us anything, it has been thinking time. An awful lot of time to think about what we want, and what we’ve been doing with our lives. Suddenly everything that we have always taken for granted seems fragile. And our beautiful world has shown us that it can and will break.

Job opportunities have vanished. Families have been broken apart by the grief of losing a loved one. And while we have sat at home waiting for it to all be over, others have been working to the bone to keep us safe.

An Opportunity

So yes, it’s certainly a recipe for soul searching. I’ve spent a good number of weeks wondering how on earth I can get PhotoBaby to function if I can’t touch anyone! But I’m not one to be beaten, and what I’ve realised is that I have an opportunity here. PhotoBaby can help our little corner of the world bounce back in some small way.

Photographers Wanted

So as I was saying: Photographers Wanted! We have a job opportunity for you.

If you are kind, caring, patient, good with children, creative, reliable, have a flair for photography and share our ideals please get in touch.

We have multiple positions available and they will be flexible and self employed. If the work you create with us is selling you can anticipate to earn upwards of £60 for each photoshoot. Both weekday and weekend work will be available.

We would love to meet experienced photographers, but we are also happy to train you if we see you have the talent and the drive.

What You Need to Do

Please send your CV, two references and three examples of your photographic work (portraits especially) to either our Facebook private messages or photobabyenquiries@gmail.com with the clear title Photography Application. Our closing date is 5pm Monday 22nd February 2021.

We hope to be able to arrange interviews for the week of 1st March, possibly over Zoom, and positions offered will be on condition of clear CRB check.

We look forward to meeting you and seeing your work!

Now for some of my soul searching photos (an early morning on the first lockdown). xx
