So many little things that will soon be at the centre of your world. Your very first weeks together are going to be packed with firsts. They will be terrifyingly wonderful, and then they will be gone forever. And that is why I am so passionate about making sure you have the perfect baby photo.
Creating a baby photo is a wonderful way to welcome your little one into the world. In just a matter of weeks they will change so much. There is so much magic in your baby’s first year and each stage only lasts a moment. Blink and you really will miss it!
I started PhotoBaby eight years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I wanted to capture every little incredible moment with a baby photo so that I could savour it all forever (He’s quite possibly one of the most photographed little boys in Lancashire now!). We have a house full of portraits and they are my most treasured possessions, they are my memories and my legacy. It is the overwhelming love that I have for my son and his sister that is the driving force behind the baby photo s I create at PhotoBaby and what has lead PhotoBaby to become the leading studio in North Lancashire and across the Bay for baby photo sessions.
The portraits we create are beautiful, natural and timeless, and our customer service is second to none. We have a great range of fun and natural set ups at our studio in Lancaster, Lancashire. And we also want each session to have your own unique stamp on it. To help us do this, we always ask that you bring along some of your own things from home – a special blanket, some cuddly toys, a scarf of your own for us to include in your newborn baby photo s. Have a chat with us about what you might like to bring with you and we’ll suggest ways we can use this in your baby photo s.
On the day we’ll start creating your baby photo s in our natural light studio while you relax over a cup of tea and admire this amazing little person that you have created. Our natural light studio is perfect for creating stunning, classic newborn baby photo s. Imagine your little one nestled amongst our neutral sheepskins and curled up on our gorgeous dark furs, these are timeless pictures we know you will cherish for the rest of your life.
We really take our time with newborn baby photo sessions, they run at baby’s pace and we will stop and start for pictures as and when your little one decides. If you or baby wish to pause the session for a feed or cuddles then that is what we will do. There is no rush, we simply want everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
The studio will be lovely and toasty and the newborn baby’s that visit us love our snug posing bean bag. We’ll find out exactly what baby photo s you would like before we start your session and tailor our routine around the pictures you want us to create. Pintrest is a wonderful resource for ideas, have a look at our pin boards, and make your own before your session. We thrive on fresh ideas and inspiration in our baby photo sessions. We’ll put our own unique twist on what ever images you bring to show us on the day.
If your newborn baby has siblings you would like them to have pictures with, we have some wonderful techniques for creating sibling pictures with your newborn baby. And if you would like a family portrait or to do some thing quirky like pop your baby in a bucket or on our weighing scales for a baby photo, we can make sure we create these too for you.
After we have created your gorgeous range of baby photo s, we’ll book you in the diary for about a week later to come back for your cinematic portrait viewing. You’ll get to see you baby photo s on the big screen and this is a wonderful experience that will have you cooing and giggling and may even bring on a few tears – we always have the tissues to hand just incase!
We’ve a range of packages available to suit most budgets (find out more about prices here), and we will help you tailor your favourite images to suit your chosen packages. Your work will be printed on luxurious metallic, which is really special – we’ll show you examples when you come in. Have a think about where you would like to put your baby photo s and we will help taylor your work to suit your needs.
To really capture your baby’s newness, we do recommend you coming for your baby photo s within your little one’s first ten days. we do advise that you get in touch about a month before baby is born and we will pencil your session in our diary for about a week after your due date (so long as you are in the diary, we will be able to shuffle appointments when baby does arrive).
