Why Every New Parent Should Visit BabyFest the PhotoBaby Baby & Toddler Show

By 25th July 2026Night Feed Ramblings

Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest adventures.

It’s also one of the biggest learning curves you’ll ever experience.

Suddenly, you’re making decisions you’ve never had to think about before. Which baby classes should you try? Where can you meet other parents? Who can you trust for advice? What local businesses are genuinely worth knowing about?

The good news is, you don’t have to work it all out on your own.

That’s exactly why we’ve created BabyFest the PhotoBaby Baby & Toddler Show.

Everything You Need, All Under One Roof

On Saturday 26th September, we’re opening the doors to PhotoBaby and welcoming some of the very best baby and family businesses from across the area.

Rather than spending months searching online, scrolling through social media or relying on recommendations from strangers, you’ll be able to meet local experts face to face.

Ask questions.

See what they do.

Discover new services.

And perhaps even find something you never knew existed.

Meet Businesses That Truly Care

One of the things I’m most excited about is the incredible group of exhibitors we’ve brought together.

You’ll find everything from antenatal education and postnatal support to baby classes, sensory experiences, role-play adventures, children’s books, handmade keepsakes and so much more.

Every business has one thing in common.

A genuine passion for helping local families.

These aren’t huge national companies.

They’re local people who love what they do and want to make a real difference in our community.

Meet Our Wonderful Exhibitors

We’ve carefully chosen businesses that complement one another, so whether you’re preparing for your baby’s arrival or chasing after a busy toddler, you’ll discover something that makes family life that little bit easier.

Bump & Blossom

Expecting a baby? Samantha from Bump & Blossom offers friendly, midwife-led antenatal classes designed to help you feel informed, confident and excited for birth and beyond.

Mother Nurtured

Angela provides compassionate doula support for pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. From antenatal education to practical help once your baby arrives, she’s there to support the whole family through one of life’s biggest transitions.

BabyBeats

Steph’s award-winning classes are suitable from around eight weeks until your baby starts crawling. Combining gentle postnatal exercise, baby yoga, massage and sensory play, they’re a wonderful way to bond with your baby while also looking after yourself.

JoJo Loves Books

Discover beautiful Usborne and Scholastic books that inspire a lifelong love of reading. Whether you’re building your baby’s first library or looking for the perfect bedtime story, there’s something for every little bookworm.

Little Cobbled Village

Step into a magical miniature world where children can become shopkeepers, café owners, builders and more. Designed to encourage imaginative play, creativity and confidence, it’s a place where little imaginations can truly come to life.

Mella’s Makings

Beautiful handmade keepsakes and personalised gifts, lovingly created to help families celebrate life’s most precious moments and preserve memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Sand Art & Crafts

Zoe brings creativity to life with colourful sand art, craft activities and imaginative experiences that children absolutely love. Expect plenty of inspiration for keeping little hands busy.

Viva Interiors

Don’t let the name fool you! Viva Interiors will be showcasing a gorgeous collection of stylish European children’s clothing, perfect if you’re looking for something a little different for your little one.

Tigerlily Trust

We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Tigerlily Trust through our charity raffle. This amazing local charity provides practical and emotional support to families affected by baby loss, helping ensure no one has to face that journey alone.

A Chance to Find Your Village

Parenthood can sometimes feel a little lonely.

Especially during those early months.

One of the best things about events like this isn’t just discovering brilliant local businesses—it’s meeting other parents who are on the same journey as you.

You’ll have the chance to chat, share experiences and perhaps even make a few new friends along the way.

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to remind you that you’re not doing this alone.

Supporting an Amazing Charity

We’re also incredibly proud that our charity raffle will be raising money for Tigerlily Trust.

It’s a cause that’s very close to our hearts, supporting families affected by baby loss and helping ensure that no family has to face that journey alone.

By simply coming along and entering the raffle, you’ll be helping us support an organisation doing truly wonderful work.

A Great Day Out for the Whole Family

Bring your baby.

Bring your toddler.

Bring your partner.

Bring the grandparents.

Take your time exploring the exhibitors, chatting to local experts and discovering everything our area has to offer for young families.

Whether you’re expecting your first baby, already juggling life with a toddler or somewhere in between, there really will be something for everyone.

We’d Love to See You

This year is especially meaningful for us because PhotoBaby is celebrating 18 wonderful years.

Over those years we’ve photographed thousands of babies and watched so many families grow.

Hosting this event feels like the perfect way to celebrate—not just our birthday, but the incredible community that’s grown around us.

We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors.
