The dust has just and so settled after this years Enterprise Vision Awards. We entered for the customer service award and were thrilled to come away with a highly commended certificate (they announced that we were just one point behind the winner and it has since come to light that my own husband didn’t get around to voting for me!).
The EVA awards itself is an utterly amazing night out and it feels such a privilege to be a part of it. Coral Horn, the face behind it all really has gone outside the box to create something quite unique. Held in the beautiful ballroom of the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, her attention to detail has made everything about this event seem sumptuous! Red carpet, paparazzi greeters, sparkling drinks reception for the finalists, a mini casino to play at (no real money involved), the food is mouth watering and everything is pink! This night is so good that this time we all went, along with our partners and my Aunties and one of my sisters.
We ate, drank, gambled and danced. Some of us ended up more merry than others (and Becky owes me a pair of shoes), but it was all good fun and a wonderful way to mark the year and acknowledge all our hard work. We’ve come a long way in a very short time and this was the perfect way to take a step back and say a little well done.
I’ve been entering awards for a few years now, and find it a fantastic way to focus my business and move it forward. I want to go back to the EVA awards next year and win the customer service trophy, and I would like to win it so well that no other business can touch us for dust. That EVA award has my name on it!
So now we are back in thick of it and this is where I need your help.
I’m always striving for excellence in every aspect of what we do, I know we are not perfect and I really appreciate being told every time something goes wrong. This gives me a chance to put it right and learn from the mistake and nudge us that bit closer to our goals.
I firmly believe that our success in becoming the best in the north west will be down to our outstanding customer service. We are constantly working to improve PhotoBaby and we have made a list of everything that we can think of to make it better, we’ve been in courses and we have tweaked so much already over the last few months.
